Worked four new 070 numbers! All participants operating clean signals and polite, as usual. I have to get a 160m antenna!
WA4EEZ
Enjoyed this one..  wish I could have stayed in the whole time.
N9JGZ
Attached is my log for the Valentine Sprint. Roy won't be sending in a log because I had him locked in the basement. Hi!
WB1W
Great time, the bands were a challenge!! Need to get a 160m antenna.
AI4OF
This is my first event with 070 and I had a blast. I do wonder why there were no Canadian stations on the band. I generally get them first try and the bands seemed to be in good shape. Almost everyone operated sprint style and had the exchange down pretty tight. Seems like a good bunch of operators. I really had hoped to pick up one of my missing states. Perhaps the station from MN will eQSL.cc. It remains to be seen! I had 14 out of 39 contacts in eQSL.cc when I finished the sprint.

Worked a few members on 40M before my 8PM start. By 8PM Mountain Time 40M was dead.  80M was good, but boy 50W sure limits my contacts. I tried 160M, but again, 50W here in the black hole of MT isn't enough. Still picked up 4 LONP members and I am closing in on 200.

WB4MNK
Had to use a 20 meter dipole fed with coax for 40 and 80 meters. I was suprized to be able to make any contacts. Neat contest.
N7GVV
My heart just wasn't in it! Only operated about 3 hours.
AG4QX

I expected to do much better since I had about 1.5 hours after getting home from work and I figured all of the mid-West would be on, it was only 2330 there.  Talk about frustrating.  I could see signals come and go but rarely long enough to make a contact.  I CQed on 160M for 32 minutes and got nothing!  I answered two 160M CQs and was not seen by them.  I still don't have a 160M contact.  I guess the conditions just were not favorable enough for a 20M dipole to get anywhere. I also saw two Canadian stations but could never link up there either.  All in all a very unsatisfactory night.  But still fun … how do I explain that?  I guess an activity that you like and an interesting time together make it a fun time.

K9VIC
Do I get a bonus for my score being 88?
KB6NU

This is the first PSK contest I've ever worked. It was fun.

KG4IBD
Fun contest.
